BJP vice president Shivraj Singh Chauhan on Wednesday targeted Congress President Rahul Gandhi and said that instead of trying to save the 'sinking' ship of Congress, he is the first person to jump over it. Chauhan told reporters in Hyderabad, "We have heard that when a ship is submerged, it is a Captain who lives on it till the end to save him. But Captain has jumped off the Congress ship first. ' Speaking on the Madhya Pradesh government, Shivraj said that the MP Secretariat has become the 'haunted' of the brokers.
Shivraj, while aiming at Rahul, said that nobody knows who is the president of the Congress. He said that the opposition parties are in a bad state. In UP, the SP and the BSP have split and Rahul Gandhi has jumped off the 'Dove Ship'. Chouhan said that the objective of BJP is to make a government after the next assembly elections in Telangana in 2023.
When asked about the stability of the Congress government in Madhya Pradesh, he said that this government was formed with the support of SP, BSP and Independents. Former Chief Minister Chauhan alleged that the law and order situation in Madhya Pradesh has worsened and the Secretariat has become the 'haunted' of the brokers. Chauhan claimed that people have regrets to go to the government in the assembly elections. He said that BJP had won all the seats in Madhya Pradesh except one Lok Sabha seat. But his party will not make any effort to demolish the state government.
