Actor Sivakarthikeyan, who was heavily panned by critics and audiences alike for endorsing stalking in his film Remo, has ensured there will be no bar song and scenes showing abuse of women in his forthcoming release Mr Local.At the pre-release event in Chennai on Tuesday, film’s director Rajesh M said that Siva insisted that the film doesn’t feature booze song and scenes portraying abuse of women.
“Usually, my films have had scenes involving alcohol or ridiculing women for breaking up. When the project was planned, Siva requested me to avoid these. I can promise that Mr Local will be a clean, colourful entertainer,” Rajesh said.The film, slated to hit the screens on Friday, also stars Nayanthara, Yogi Babu, Radikaa Sarath Kumar, Sathish and Robo Shankar among other. Mr Local marks the reunion of Siva and Nayanthara, who had previously worked together in Velaikkaran.
