PAKvsNZ: Yasir Shah broke '82 year old' world record, left behind Australian player

The third match of the Test series between Pakistan and New Zealand is being played in Abu Dhabi. The second innings was played on the fourth day of the New Zealand match. During this, Yasir Shah, bowling from Pakistan, broke a 82-year-old record. Yasir made a record of taking the fastest 200 Test wickets. He broke the record of former Australian bowler Clarrie Grimmett in this case. Yasir achieved this feat by taking New Zealand's William Somerville wicket.

 

 

 

In fact, Yasir has bowled superbly in Test matches so far. He continued the series and completed the fastest 200 Test wickets. He broke the 82-year-old record in the fastest 200-wicket haul. Earlier this record left behind former Australian bowler Grimmett. Yasir achieved this feat in 33 matches. While Grimmett had made this record in 36 matches. Team India's spin bowler Ravichandran Ashwin is at number three in this list. He achieved this position in 37 matches.

 

 

 

On Yasir's cricket career, he took 200 wickets in 33 matches. Although his 33rd match is against New Zealand Yasir is giving 18 wickets with 14 wickets in Test matches. He has taken 10 wickets so far 3 times. While 16 times have taken 5 or more wickets. Apart from this, he has taken 19 wickets in 19 ODIs.
