Security forces opened fire on protesters marching towards central Baghdad in Iraq on Thursday, killing six protesters. Officials said the protesters were trying to remove the blockers on the way. On the other side, protesters in the southern part of the country closed Iraq's main port. A few hours before this, services were started at this port which was closed for several days. These protesters were trying to reach the 'Green Zone' where all the government offices and foreign embassies are. Security and medical officials said six people were killed and at least 41 protesters were injured in the action by security forces. Security forces opened fire and fired tear gas to remove these protesters heading towards Rashid Street.
