Nursery, KG and first class admission race in Delhi from today

The race for admission to nursery, KG and first class in the capital Delhi starts from Friday. In the academic session 2020-21, out of 1709 private schools, only 1480 schools uploaded the admission on the website of the Criteria DOE (Department of Education) till 7:30 pm on Thursday while the schools had to do it by 28 November. At the same time, some are also giving 30 days relaxation in school age. Due to this, the parents are upset because no information has been given by the Directorate of Education.

 

 

 

According to Sumit Vohra, founder of NurseryAdmission.com, based on the guidelines issued by DOE, private schools will have admission in nursery, KG and first class in the academic session 2020-21. The admission race will start from 29 November till 27 December while the entire process related to admission will end on 16 March.

 

 

 

Admissions include standards such as Sibling Neighborhood, Alumni, Single Parent in a hundred-digit point system. The largest standard in admission will be Neighborhood. However, most schools are giving different points on Neighborhood. The parent is facing a lot of trouble with this.

 

 

 

Some 70, 40, 35, Ten Points Becomes Parental Headache in Neighborhood

Even before the admission race starts, parents are upset because schools are giving different points on Neighborhood. At one kilometer distance in the Doon Public School Neighborhood, 70 Point, Catholic Christian School 35 Point, Carmel Convent School 20 Point, The Mother's International School 40 Point. Parents are worried that their child may not get out of the admission race at these points of Neighborhood.

 

 

 

Age calculation based on 31 March 2020

The child's age at admission will be calculated on 31 March 2020. Under this, the child's age should be less than four years for pre-school i.e. nursery, whereas the child's age should be less than five years for pre-primary i.e. KG and six years for class I.

 

 

 

Parent's qualification, sports and employment not standard

 

The qualifications of school parents, children's sports, parents being in employment, school transport, non-smokers, first-come-first-served cannot make the standard. The inclusion of these standards in admission standards is prohibited. If a school still bases these standards, parents can complain to the school from the DOE. To prevent violation of these standards, a team of monitoring cells is also being formed by DOE in various districts of Delhi.

 

 

 

Keep these things related to nursery admission in mind

 

. Applications for admission will start from November 29 and will be filled till December 27.

 

 

. Schools can only charge a fee of Rs 25 for an application form from parents. The guardian has the choice whether to buy the prospectus or not. Schools cannot compel parents to purchase prospectus.

 

 

. The list of those applying on the website will be released on January 10.

 

 

. The first list (with waiting list) will come on 24 January. The problem of parents will be resolved from 27 January to 3 February.

 

 

. The second list (with waiting list) will come on 12 February. The parents' problem

regarding the list will be resolved from 13-19 February.

 

 

. If any other list needs to be released, it will have to be done by 06 March.

 

 

. The admission race will end on 16 March.

This document will be valid as a residence address:

Ration cord of the parent's name.

 

 

 

Domicile certificate in the name of child and guardian.

 

 

Parent's Voter I Card.

 

 

Electricity bill, telephone bill, water bill and child's passport.
