Johannesburg: A truck hit several vehicles in the north-eastern province of Limpopo in South Africa, killing 27 people and injuring several others. Provincial Transport Minister Mkoma Makhuruptej said that after a forward tire broke out, the driver lost control of the vehicle and the truck collided with several vehicles coming from the opposite direction.
The uncontrolled truck hit many vehicles, which included a mini bus carrying 22 people. The mini bus was coming from the Limpop to the country's financial capital Johannesburg. Four people injured in the accident have been admitted to different hospitals. The crash took place on the road connecting South Africa with Zimbabwe.
