MP Board Exam Postponed: Keeping in mind the corona virus ( COVID-19 ) in Madhya Pradesh, it has been decided to give general promotion to the students of non-board secondary classes (first to fourth and sixth and seventh). The exams for the upcoming subjects of fifth and eighth have been canceled, while the high school (10th) and higher secondary (12th) board examinations have been postponed till 31 March.
The order issued by the School Education Department states that the students will be promoted to the next class as per rules by evaluating the student on the basis of the achievements in the monthly and half-yearly internal assessment of the secondary classes (first to fourth and sixth and seventh).
Similarly, the examination of the subjects for which the examination is pending after March 19 of the fifth and eighth board examination has been canceled. For the remaining subjects, grading will be done on the basis of the results of the half-yearly examination. The Board of Secondary Education has postponed the high school and higher secondary examinations till 31 March.
Along with postponing the examinations, the MP Board has postponed the evaluation work of the answer sheets starting from March 21 to March 31 with immediate effect. Please tell that no case of infection with Corona virus has been reported in Madhya Pradesh so far.
