The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) can apply only by Wednesday.The architecture council will not consider the applications received after this. It is compulsory to participate in the entrance examination for admission to the five-year degree course in the architecture.
Council has sought applications from qualified candidates till June 12, 2019 While the entrance examination will be held on July 7. The result of the admission test will be declared on July 21. The last date for application to participate in the counseling conducted by Technical University Hamirpur is July 22.
Counseling of the first phase will be held on July 25 and the second phase will be on 30 July 2019. Depending on the matriculation, diploma courses in polytechnical colleges can also apply for NATA.
In the past, the passage of class XII was considered eligible for degree course based on the national examination. Please note that the diploma course is passed after passing matriculation in the course. While it is mandatory for a degree course to pass a class XII class.
MHRD has decided to conduct NAT examination twice a year. The national level eligibility examination was done in April this year. Now for the second time in July, the entrance examination will be held. So that no student will be deprived of access to architecture.
In Himachal, degree courses are going on in Sundernagar Polytechnic and Dr. BR Ambedkar State College, Ambota, Una, three-year Architectural Diploma Course and Nagrota Bagwan.
Dr. Satish Katwal, HOD of the School of Architecture running under the Rajiv Gandhi Government Engineering College Nagrota Bagwan said that the architecture can apply for the National Eligibility test by Wednesday, June 12.
