Virat Kohli, captain of the Indian cricket team and a youth icon, has topped the powerful celebrity brand list of Duff & Phelps, the global valuation and corporate finance advisors, for second year in a row. Kohli has retained his position with a brand valuation of $170.9 million.
Duff & Phelps released the fourth edition of the report on India’s most valuable celebrity brands on Thursday. The theme of this year’s report is ‘The Bold, The Beautiful and The Brilliant.’ As per the report, Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone (brand value $102.5 million), who has climbed to number two position, is the only other celebrity with a brand value of over $100 million.
Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh have also jumped one place each to be at third and fourth positions, respectively, with brand value of $67.3 million and $63 million.
