Now user's data will have to store locally!

Delhi,10,August,2018

The government has taken important steps to increase the security of citizens in the country. In the coming time, all tax giant companies may need to save local data in India. With this, Amazon, IBM and Microsoft are likely to be affected, while Google, Oracle, Facebook and its messaging service WhatsApp will also have a big impact. Currently, these companies store user data in other countries but the government now wants it to be stored in India so that data can be monitored. A panel of government is working on cloud computing policy which will allow the data to be shared in India and to store here.

- Online news website Reuters said that he has seen a draft report related to this new policy in which the proposals given would be a shock to the technology giants. It says that India's data will be stored in India only. According to the report, this will not only increase the cost of technology companies, but also increase their data storage in India. The cost of electricity will also increase.

Security of the country will increase

Data Centers will be passed in India only after monitoring the data of Indian customers in government supervision. Under this policy, data from small startup companies to large size Indian companies will be stored in India. Presently the entire data can be stored in India, the proposal of the policy attached to it has been presaged.

Problems in Investigation

Authorities say that this information should be stored locally so that it can be easily accessed for invoicing. It is being brought in for global scrutiny and to find out how companies finally store the data. Right now, the data centers of the companies are currently operating in other countries from where it is difficult to obtain data.

India is thinking ahead of data protection

This draft report from the Cloud Policy Panel is being led by Chris Gopalakrishnan, co-founder of Indian Tech Giant Infosys. He said that we are thinking ahead of the data protection so that India's IT large framework can be improved, which is currently inadequate for cloud computing.

India should have data store

We are recommending that cloud data and any kind of data that has been generated in India should be saved within the country, so that it is available at all times for the Investigation Agencies and National Security agencies. At present, Gopalakrishnan has not provided any information about this draft report, but he has definitely said that he is hopeful that the Policy will be submitted before the end of this month by the Information Technology Minister or before 15th September.

What is cloud computing

Let us know that software, storage and other services from cloud computing to customers are made available through remote data centers. Industry officials have said that Indian businesses store their data only through cloud services. It is a store outside the country, so that India has a problem obtaining this data.

Indians will benefit

The government says that according to Indian Legal and Policy Frameworks, the data generated in India will be utilized for the benefit of Indian citizens.
