Delhi,13,August,2019

Reliance Industries Limited, one of the largest companies in the country, has made several big announcements regarding Jio Fiber in the 42nd annual general meeting. After this meeting, it has become clear that from September 5, the fiber service of Jio will be available to every common citizen of the country. However, Jio's Internet of Thinds (IoT) platform will be available from 1 January 2020.

Jio has said that it has connected Neroband Internet to the Things service with its 4G network across the country, hence it will be called NBIoT. Within two years of the launch, Jio has connected two billion or 200 million devices with Internet to the Things.

Jio has not given much information about Internet to the Things service yet. According to reports, Jio's IoT service will also be available at home and office. Jio gave a demo of IoT service at the Indian Mobile Congress last year.

Jio has announced to start home broadband service after waiting for almost a year. Under Jio Home Broadband service, users will get plans ranging from 100Mbps to 1GBPS. The basic plan of Jio Home Broadband will start from Rs 700, while the price of the premium pack will be Rs 10,000. With Jio's broadband service, voice calls will always be free across the country in landline connections.
