Most senior judges will now hear on PILs hearing

Delhi,27,June,2019

Supreme Court will now hear five Chief Justice Ranjana Gogoi and five senior judges, including the Public Interest Litigation (PIL). Right now Chief Justice or second-judge senior judge takes a hearing on the PIL . The new system will be implemented from July 1. Apart from this, the petition related to the first election used to listen to the bench headed by the Chief Justice, but will now hear Justice Bobde's bench.

In fact, last year, four senior judges, including Ranjan Gogoi, had a press conference for the first time while questioning the allocation of cases, after which the case caught a lot. After that, then Chief Justice Deepak Mishra had made the roster system common and decided that the PILs would listen to the Chief Justice himself.

Now Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi has made changes in this arrangement. In fact, through any PIL, a person can knock the court on the violation of his fundamental rights. Under it many important cases come before the court.
