External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj will attend a two-day meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), scheduled to start from Tuesday in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyz Republic. It is believed that in this meeting, various topical issues including terrorism will be discussed. This is the second time when the Foreign Ministers Council (CFM) meeting is joining as a full member of the SCO.
The Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the CFM will discuss top issues of international and regional importance and will review the preparations for the SCO Summit going to be held in Bishkek on 13-14 June. The Ministry said that Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj will represent India in this meeting.
