New Delhi: In view of the implementation of health, physical education, sports and yoga in the schools, the National Council for Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has pointed out the necessity of introducing health and physical education related topics from the first to the tenth grade. It has been stated in the guidelines issued for schools that those who regularly participate in physical activities, their health is better.In such cases, from the first to the tenth grade, each school must be presented in the form of essential health and physical education. This subject needs to be given equal status in other subjects.
It has been stated in the guidelines of NCERT that there is a need to set up a class on health and physical education in the daily schedule from the first to the tenth grade. Health and physical education includes health, physical education, sports and yoga. Formally present yoga activity from the sixth grade and emphasize the practice related to physical education activities. All schools should have a place for playgrounds and equipment. Schools can use the available space in the community if the space is not available. However, in view of the safety measures, it needs to be ensured that this place is nearby and secure.
To ensure the safety of children, organizing sports, yoga and other activities is needed. Schools should have a first aid box with medicine. Also, schools should have access to the nearest primary health center and hospital. The Council has said that keeping the physical activities forward, it should be noted that children can enjoy it.
