Delhi,27,June,2019

The state government has become hard after the mobile phones and intoxicants were found near prisoners in Kerala. The Pinarai Vijayan government has now decided to deploy the Indian Reserve Battalion commandos in the jails. Apart from this, after the incident of phone use by the prisoners, the government has also told to impose jammers in the jails. Answering a question in the House on Wednesday, CM Pinarai Vijayan himself has said these things.

Responding to the question of Congress legislator Casey Joseph in the Assembly on Wednesday , the police said that the raid in the jails will be strict action against the officials in case of violation of jail rules. During this time he informed the House about the decision to deploy the commandos in jail . He said that for the last few days the police is raising prisons because there is not a prison-like situation inside the jail.

Vijayan said in jail, "After getting information that there is not a prison-like situation inside the jail, we raided the jails. Police seized such things from prisoners there, which are not allowed in jail. He said that in view of the seizure of mobile phones from the prisoners, his government will impose a jammer in jail.
