The Board of School Education will allow students registered in the State Open School to take the examinations thrice a year. The board will conduct SOS examinations in March, June and September. Till now the examination has been done twice a year. Now the board has decided to give the chance for SOS students to take the exam three times a year.
Eighth, tenth and deposited class two students registered with SOS will be given five years or a total of nine opportunities to pass a class. Chairman of the board Dr. Suresh Kumar Soni said that after the formation of SOS Wing, many decisions are being taken for the convenience of students. Now students will be given the opportunity to take the exam three times a year.
Opportunity to register by late December without any fee
The Board of Education has started online application for the proposed annual examination from the State Open School in March 2020. Students appearing for the eighth, tenth and deposited classes can apply till December 20 with a fee of Rs 250. Applications will be taken from December 21 to 31 with a late fee of Rs 500.
Old numbers will not be added
Through SOS, students who will take the category improvement test will have their practical subjects taken separately. Old digits will not be added. This will provide relief to thousands of students.
