The rising prices of petrol and diesel in the time of Azad is becoming a problem for the world's automobile. Keeping this in mind, Munich-based startup company Sono Motors has trialed a solar car that is charged when you drive. The name of this car is Sion and it has been trialed in Germany. Once full charge, this car can travel 250 kilometers. The company will sell it for 16,000 Euros (about 12 lakhs 76 thousand rupees) next year. So far 5000 orders of this car have been received.
It is a fully electric vehicle in which solar cells are integrated into its body. It can be charged with solar power, power outlets or other electric car. This car will be built in its German plant in the second half of 2019.
Solar cells have been installed on the roof of the car, bonnet and side panels. The sunlight on the car starts charging its battery. Although the company has also arranged a conventional charging station, so that car owners do not have to face problems in bad weather. There are about 330 solar panels in it.
Moss has also been installed in Zion, which does not allow moisture to be exposed in the inside environment by expelling polluted air inside the car. It is a kind of moss or fungus growing in Iceland, which works naturally to clean the air around it. It has been installed on the dashboard inside the car and it does not need water or any other way.
