NGT Asked Delhi Government And Corporations To Deposit 250 Crores For Removal Of Garbage

The National Green Authority (NGT) on Wednesday asked the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government and city bodies to deposit a tranche of 250 crore rupees to remove the garbage from Dala destinations as well as warnings Given that failing to comply with this directive, no officer will get their salary. A bench headed by NGT Chairman Justice Adarsh ​​Kumar Goel said that 28 million tonnes of garbage was deposited at Bhalswa, Ghazipur and Okhla Dallas sites. The NGT said that this garbage is polluting ground water which is transforming into 'yellow and orange color' and reach Yamuna. The court has directed that the removal of garbage should start from October 1.
