Team India To Play Its 1st Pink Ball Test Abroad Against Australia

Cricket Australia announced its domestic international schedule on Thursday. In the midst of Coronavirus, when all major sporting events around the world are postponed or canceled, Australia hopes that Team India will take a full tour (T20, Test and ODI) to host it. It has also been made clear in this program of Australia that India will play the second Test match of this Test series with Pink Ball (Day-Night) in Adelaide. This will be the first time that Team India will play a pink ball day-night test match with a team on foreign soil.

Earlier, when Team India went on a tour of Australia in 2018-19, the Australian Cricket Board offered it a day-night test. But then his offer was rejected by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Meanwhile, Saurabh Ganguly, the former captain of Team India became the new captain of Team India and he had talked to the current captain of Team India, Virat Kohli in this context and persuaded him for the day-night test.

According to this program released by Australia, India has to play the second Test match of the series on 11-15 December at the Oval ground in Adelaide. According to this program, Team India will begin the tour with the T20 series on 11 October. It is here after the T20 that he has to take part in the T20 World Cup, which is still under threat due to Kovid-19. After this, Team India will play a four-Test series from December and a series of 3 ODIs till January 2021.

Let us tell that India played their first pink ball test against Bangladesh in Kolkata. So far, this is the only Pink Ball Test of Team India, in which Virat Kohli scored a century and Team India won in this Test match.
