Facebook Will Challenge Tiktok With Its New App Collab

Facebook has launched its new app Collab to compete with Tiktok. This app allows the user to create their own music and edit short video clips. This Facebook app is currently in beta version. The company is currently offering this app only on iOS with an invite-only option.

Record and edit three short videos

With the help of this app, users can record three different short videos. In this video, users can show themselves playing guitar or drums. Also, in this app, users can also record their video while singing a song. After the shooting of all the three videos, the user can edit it together and create a different song.

After editing the video in Collab app you can also share it on social media platforms. The special feature of this app is that if a user likes your video format, then he will be able to create his own video in your format.

Users will get credit

Facebook said that if a user's clip is used in other videos, then they will get credit for it. However, it will be necessary for other users to shoot an original clip. Initially Collab will focus on music creations only. Maybe a few days later the company will start offering other media formats as well.

Trying to leave TikTok behind

Facebook app will directly compete with TikTok. TicketLock's popularity also grew rapidly in China as a lip syncing app. Like Facebook's new app, TickTalk offers the option of Duet and React. Through this option, users can use the videos of other users in their posts.

This new app of Facebook will be launched in these countries

Users around the world are waiting. However, the company has said that in the initial phase Collab will be offered only in the US and Canada.
