Melborune,30,November,2019

Aaron Finch, captain of the Australian cricket team (Australia), is injured due to a ball to the head during the Sheffield Shield match. The player for Victoria has been ruled out of the match against New South Wales after being late concession.

Finch was fielding at short leg during this match being played at Melbourne Cricket Ground when Steve O'Keefee flicked James Pattinson in his direction. The ball landed directly on Finch's helmet. After which team doctor Trevor James came on the field. Finch continued fielding after initial investigation.

However after lunch this kangaroo batsman felt congested. After which Travis Dean replaced Finch on the basis of the new Concussion Substitute rule.

Let us know that Cricket Australia has implemented the rule of concussion in the Sheffield Shield tournament from the 2017-18 season itself. However, this rule has come into force in international cricket from this season. Significantly, for the first time in any international match, the team that used the concussion substrate is also Australia.

Marnus Labushane became the first CONCUSION SUBSTITUTE in international cricket after Steve Smith was injured on Joffra Archer's bouncer during the Lord's Test of the Ashes series played against England.
