India Vs West Indies 1st Test 3rd Day: Virat Kohli And Ajinkya Rahane Hits Half Century

India tightened their grip on the match on Saturday, the third day of the first Test match against the West Indies, scoring 185 runs in three wickets in 72 overs. The Indian team lost three wickets in the second season but captain Virat Kohli (51 not out) and vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane (53 not out) took the lead and did not allow the team any damage. Both have now formed an unbroken 104-run partnership for the fourth wicket.

 

 

Increased to 260 runs total with seven wickets left. Offspinner Roston Chase was the most successful bowler for the West Indies, taking two wickets for 69 runs in 25 overs. The West Indies did not have to wait much for the first success in the second season of the day. Mayank Agarwal scored 16 runs in the 14th over of the innings and was lbw to Roston Chase. The team's score at this time was 30 runs.
