JNUSU President Aishi Ghosh has strongly attacked the release of his picture as a suspect in JNU violence. Accusing the police of bias, he said that no FIR was lodged against me for the attack and I was dubbed as the suspect to spin the issue. Aishi said that he has full faith in the law and order of the country and will get justice. It is noteworthy that Delhi Police held a press conference today regarding the JNU incident and among the suspects, 9 students along with JNUSU President Aashi Ghosh have been named and their photo has been released.
Ishi, however, admitted that she was in the video which is running on social media but she was not involved in the violence. He further said, 'If I saw in some videos, then made me suspicious and if I got a fatal attack, then it is not being considered. Is it a crime to roam inside the campus? ' He said, 'I don't get suspicious by someone's saying. Did I have a rod in my hand and did I wear a mask? ' He said, 'Delhi Police should conduct their own investigation. I also have proof of how I was attacked. '
Aishi, who came out after a meeting with HRD secretary, accused the police of bias and said, "I have full faith in the law and order of the country that the investigation will be completely neutral."
