Noida/Ghaziabad: A ‘soft launch’ for the 60-plus age category and those above 45 years with comorbidities is expected to cover about 600 people — 300 in Noida and 300 in Ghaziabad — when the third phase of the Covid-19 vaccination drive begins Monday.
For this, the UP government has released a set of guidelines for all those who will get the jab.
The Gautam Budh Nagar administration will administer the Covishield vaccine at two government centres — Government Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS) in Greater Noida and District Combined hospital in Sector 30 — and the Covaxin jab at the private facility in SJM hospital.
In Ghaziabad, Covid shots will be administered at District Women Hospital, District Combined Hospital and Yashoda Hospital in Kaushambi. The private centre will charge Rs 250 for every shot.
