Hyderabad: Uttar Pradesh's Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Wednesday that if the BJP formed a government in Telangana, it would honor the people's feelings and name the name of 'Bhagyanagar' and Karimnagar district 'Kripapuram'. While addressing electoral rallies in Karimnagar district and Bodhan Nagar in Nizamabad district, Yogi said, "If BJP comes to power in Telangana, it will change the name of Karimnagar to 'Kripapuram' while respecting your feelings."
Yogi said that if the BJP becomes the government then the name of Hyderabad will be changed to 'Bhagyanagar' as you looked in Uttar Pradesh. We have changed the name of Faizabad to Prayagraj named Ayodhya and Allahabad. He said, "Only BJP can do this work because BJP is your one who respects your culture, traditions, heritage and your ancestors and wants to take the system of India forward."
Yogi said that hence BJP is essential, BJP wants cooperation from all of you. I appeal to you to choose BJP candidates by voting in the elections. Telangana BJP leader T. Raja Lodh also said on several occasions that if BJP comes to power, then it will be named after the names of the great people of Hyderabad and other state towns.
The name of many places has changed in the BJP government in Uttar Pradesh with Yogi Adityanath. It includes Allahabad to Prayagraj, Faizabad to Ayodhya and Mughalsarai to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Junction.
