16-year-old Sourav won gold in Asian Airgun Championship

Young shooter Sourav Chaudhary, who retained his glorious form, won the gold medal in the 10 meter air pistol of the Asian Airgun Championship, which was the fourth yellow metal in four months in individual competition. Meerut's 16-year-old Sourav won gold medal in team competition along with Arjun Singh Cheema and Anmol Jain, with a total of 1731 points. He won his second gold with a score of 239.8 in the individual finals of 8 players. In this competition Arjuna got silver medal with 237.7 points while bronze medal was named after Huang Wei-Te (218) of Chinese Taipei. Anmol (195.1) remained in fourth place.

 

 

 

 

Earlier, in August, Sourav won gold in the Asian Games and won gold at the World Shooting Championship and Youth Olympic Games last month. In the tournament, India's medal count has increased to 10, including 3 gold, 5 silver and 2 bronze medals.
