Smartphones of Chinese smartphone maker Shaoomi, however, runs on Android-based MIUI OS, but recently, Shaoomi has become part of Google's Android One program. In the year 2017, the company launched the Mi A1 smartphone, and the company has launched Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite smartphones last year as well as the better Android Experience. Now, moving forward this 'A series', the company is preparing to launch its third-generation smartphones.
According to the reports, Shaomi is working on Android One Devices and these smartphones have been given 'bamboo_sprout' and 'cosmos_sprout' codenamed. The 'sprout' is associated with both the smartphones' name and this suffix is connected to the codename of all Android One smartphones. In this case, these two devices can be Mi A3 and Mi A3 Lite. These devices were disclosed by XDA Developers in the past.
The part of the Android One lineup will get the Android pie out-of-the-box in Xiaomi Mi A3 and Xiaomi Mi A3 Lite smartphones. In addition, these smartphones will also get latest Android Q OS update. Apart from stock Android, there are two more features in these smartphones, which have been highlighted in Mi A Devices. These devices are being tested with 'fod' which point to the fingerprint on display.
Vivo has already brought this feature into the mid-range segment phones and Shaoomi can also bring this feature up soon. Apart from this, the 32-megapixel selfie camera is being mentioned in the next feature in phones. This sensor can be launched with Waterdrop Noch and the phones can give a badge-lace display experience. Both phones can be launched by May or June. They can be launched in India around the price mark of 15 thousand rupees.
