The European Union (EU) on Monday requested the international community to send humanitarian aid to help Iran's war against the Corona virus and argued that it would not violate US sanctions. The EU is preparing to send 20 million euros in aid to Iran. More than 1,800 people have died in Iran due to the new corona virus. EU Chief Diplomat Joseph Borel said that Brussels would support the request for help made by Iran and Venezuela. After the EU foreign ministers meeting, he said, "We are going to support the request of these countries which are in very difficult times, especially because they are unable to sell their oil due to US sanctions."
