Islamabad: Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan first went to the headquarters of the powerful detective agency ISI and told him the first line of defense of the country. According to an official statement, senior executives of "Inter-Services Intelligence" (ISI), along with senior cabinet ministers, briefed Khan about various strategic intelligence and national security issues in detail.
According to a statement issued by the Army Media Center Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Prime Minister appreciated the contribution of ISI to national security, especially the anti-terrorist efforts. He said that ISI is our first line of defense and is working as the world's best intelligence agency. Khan told the ISI officials that his government and the people of Pakistan are standing behind the armed forces and intelligence agencies. He appreciated the unprecedented achievements of these institutions.
