The Delhi government has directed the principals of government and aided schools not to collect CBSE examination fees from the students of class 10th and 12th till further orders. The Directorate of Education has said in a letter that CBSE has increased the examination fees for class 10th and 12th for the year 2020.
The letter said that in this regard, the heads of all government and government aided schools have been instructed not to collect examination fees from students of class 10th and 12th to pay to CBSE till further orders. However, the process of completing the list of candidates of CBSE will continue as usual.
Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said last week that students of classes 10th and 12th of Delhi government-run and aided schools will not have to pay any fee and the government will bear the entire examination fee.
