A 28-day report of patients suffering from cold, cough and fever will have to be given to the doctors by calling the toll-free number 1077. Doctors of private and government hospitals who do not do so will be taken legal action and they will be booked under the Disaster Management Act. According to the information, the Kangra district administration has instructed private, government and Ayurvedic hospitals running across the district to get complete information about the last 28 days of patients suffering from cold and fever.
During this time, if the patient is Tibetan or foreign or has recently visited other states of the country after traveling abroad, then it will be mandatory to give information of such patients. For this, they have to call toll free number 1077 and give complete information. District Magistrate Kangra Rakesh Kumar Prajapati said that all health institutions in the district will have to disclose information of patients of Tibetan origin or patients returning from abroad within the last 28 days on a toll free number. He said that if the orders are violated, strict action will be taken against the accused.
