New Delhi: Shipping Minister Nitin Gadkari will start two floating restaurants on Saturday in Mumbai, which will accommodate about one thousand people. As per the information released by the ministry on Friday, the ministry has issued licenses for three restaurants and arrangements will be made to accommodate 475 people in each restaurant. Two of these restaurants will be in the sea near the Gateway of India and one in Girgaon Chupti.
These two floating restaurants will be organized for family celebrations. In the restaurant, corporate houses will also be allowed to organize their programs and to organize special public ceremonies on various subjects. All these restraints have been registered in the Maharashtra Maritime Board in terms of security. Among these, all other essential amenities will be available along with life saving jackets and fire fighting equipment.
Gadkari will also attend a land worship function in the Eastern Water Area of the Mumbai Port Trust during this period. Apart from this, he will also start the tender process for the world's tallest Mumbai Elephant Ropeway and Super Specialty Hospital in the sea at Mumbai Port. This ropeway of Mumbai will be about eight kilometers long and it will be built at a height of 50 to 125 meters.
