Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued official notices for all the 10th and 12th class students of all schools. The Board has asked all the students to complete 75% attendance till January 1, 2019 in this notice. The board has warned that if 75% of the students do not meet the standard of attendance then they can be stopped from giving examination.
This is the first time that CBSE is going to take such a tough step against its 10th and 12th class students. The CBSE Board has made this rule in mind with a decision of Delhi High Court. According to the reports, the internal assessment of both classes will begin from January 1, 2019. Apart from this, no letter board will accept the attendance after January 15, 2019. The result of less than 75 percent of the attendance will be the result of not giving the examinations to the contestants.
At the same time, students are also waiting for a date sheet for the 2018-19 session. It is expected that for the year 2019, the CBSE board will issue early date sheets in comparison to the previous session. According to media reports, on December 11, the CBSE will be able to issue a date sheet for practical exams. Only after this announcement can the date sheet of exams that take place in February-March be exposed.
