The Times LitFest is currently being held in Delhi. On its first day, famous film actor Gulshan Grover attended the function. Gulshan's film ' I Am Kalam ' was highly praised and it also received many awards. He told the audience that he initially refused to do the film.
Gulshan said that after listening to the storyline of the film, he liked it very much and decided to do this film for free. He said, 'When I was offered' I am Kalam ', I refused this film because the budget of the film was equal to my fee. However, when I heard the story of the film, I was very happy and decided to do this film for free.
In response to a question asked about Gulshan's inclination towards negative roles, he said, 'I have been offered hero's roles many times but I always refused to play them. I never wanted to be a hero. When I entered the film industry, people did not want to change their look for the film. Even people did not want to put a mustache on their face. At that point I started experimenting with my looks. Now see, even actors like Aamir Khan change their look to show their character real. '
