Delhi,15,April,2019

Outer Manipur Lok Sabha seat may be re-elected on two polling booths as unknown miscreants here allegedly harm EVMs and VVPAT machines. An official gave this information. They said that these miscreants had entered voting centers by becoming voters. Chief Election Officer (CEO) PK Singh said, "On April 11, at around one and thirty minutes, unknown people destroyed two polling booths of Poi and Chingkhai villages and even before the security guards retaliated. They fled from there. "This place is located near the border of India-Myanmar. Singh said that an FIR has been registered in this regard and the police is investigating it. He said, "After getting the necessary report in relation to these two incidents, the EC can announce the date for holding elections again."
