Google launches new smart display feature for these Android phone users



Google has started rolling out Ambient Mode in its virtual assistant Google Assistant . This has been said in a report by XDA Developers. This feature converts the screen of the user's smartphone into a smart display. This feature converts the smartphone's screen into a smart display with calendar, current weather, notifications, reminders, music control and many important information. The feature was announced at the IFA at the beginning of the year.



Claim to get new feature in these smartphones


Since then this feature has come in only two tablets (Lenovo Smart Tab M8 HD and Lenovo Yoga Smart Tab) and two smartphones (Nokia 7.2, Nokia 6.2). Now XDA Developers report says that users of Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro and Nokia 6.1 have also claimed to have this feature. Poco F1 users have also shared a screenshot claiming to have this feature.



Google told how this feature will work


The report says that after the feature goes live, Android 10 users can activate it by going to the Assistant after Settings and saying Hey Google . Regarding how this feature works, Google has said, 'Google Assistant's ambient mode is a new visual overview, which makes it easier to see notifications and reminders. In it you can turn on the playlist on your device's lock screen and control smart home devices. When you're done, your screen will turn into a personal digital photo frame, which will be linked to your Google Photos account. '



New Google Assistant will soon come in other Android phones

The company has already started working in this direction by introducing the 'new' Google Assistant in the recently launched Pixel 4 and Pixel 4XL smartphones. The new Google Assistant is already on Pixel 4 devices and will soon be rolling out to other Android smartphones.
